QR codes only DEBIT your account. Scanning one to "receive" money is physically impossible by design. If anyone says otherwise — hang up.
OTP Scam
No bank, RBI, NPCI, or government body ever asks for your OTP. Sharing it gives complete account control. Hang up, call your bank directly.
Phishing
One wrong letter in a URL steals your login. "sbi-kyc-update.net" vs "sbi.co.in". Always type the address yourself. Never click SMS or WhatsApp links.
Fake Loan Apps
Any loan app requesting contacts or media access is a blackmail trap. It harvests contacts and morphs photos to extort you. Uninstall immediately.
